Haven't seen one of these screamers for a while:
"Social Networking Sites Costs [sic] UK plc £6.5bn in Lost Productivity"
So I guess it's about time.
This one's from Global Secure Systems, so you'd have thought the release might've focused on security rather than lost productivity. It kinda does later on, with this lovely bit of scaremongering from GSS MD David Hobson:
"...what is apparent are the serious security implications associated with social networking, where hackers, exploiters and extortionists are worming their way into these sites extracting all sorts of information on the members."
Oooh, scary (though not, in reality, supported with any evidence).
Keep your eyes peeled here on the TWL social network, won't you? See any "worming" going on, do let us know.
